Admittedly , consumers of the gaming industry today have experienced some of the poorest treatment by even the largest leading game studios of this day ad age. The consumers are milked bone dry by some of the most devious business practices performed by developers, indie and self-sufficient large corporations alike. Gone are the days where consumers can pick up a video game in it's standalone state at full price ,designed to perfection, tested to no end, and efficiently QA tested upon it's launch day. Today Video games are riddled with a plethora of glitches and bugs, requiring week t week of month to month patching. Today games are seemingly home to a lack of innovation and seemingly designed to grab the $60 from the consumer (or more) to fund their next heavily monetized and hype fueled product. Developers push for Cumbersome Pre-order bonuses where as a whole, are technically no longer a necessity and more so a luxury. Here, insight will be provided to those within the gaming community, casual visitors, and future consumers of this industry on some of the tropes plaguing the gaming industry today.
